Daniela Antunes
A trained percussionist, Daniela Antunes brings creativity to life through movement, storytelling, and hands-on artistic expression. Currently, in addition to working as a percussion teacher, she is a stop-motion animation tutor with Mini Kinos, inspiring young creatives to explore the magic of animation while deepening her knowledge of visual storytelling and artistic education.
Her performances are rooted in the exploration of sound objects, transforming everyday elements into musical expressions and offering audiences an unfamiliar sense of familiarity.
With a background in lyrical singing, she expands her vocal range into her performances. She regularly performs with the chamber choir Essence Voices, of which she is a co-founding member.
She has collaborated with various groups and artists, including Bia Maria, Ana Lua Caiano, Sara Anjo, Joana Gama & Luís Fernandes, Observatório dos Rios (Odisseia Nacional - TNDMii), and Vertixe Sonora.
Currently, she works as a percussion teacher and tutor while deepening her knowledge of therapeutic approaches through sound and vibrational art.
